top builders queensland reddit

fuzzy-muppet

banned on reddit AGAIN for posting building stats. wont go into it. mods over there are allergic to numbers apparently

anyway anyone looking up top builders queensland reddit keeps landing on threads from 2019 so heres the current vibe. top 5 this year is painfully predictable:

1 Metricon
2 Coral Homes
3 Plantation Homes
4 Ausbuild
5 Brighton Homes

shock horror the big boys still on top. full list is on https://constructiondata.com.au/ if you actually care. im just here because reddit muted me mid sentence again

Saw the Queensland top 100 drop on LinkedIn last fortnight. Same top 5 you listed, ranked by contract revenue for FY25/26.

Full hundred is in this post if you want to scroll the cards rather than guess from sales yard flags:

Handy if you are shortlisting builders in SEQ and want to see who is actually writing contracts, not just who has the loudest radio ads.

You do not even need a constructiondata login for the short version. They publish a Queensland top 15 leaderboard page and it updates weekly.

I check it when mates ask who is busy around Brisbane and the GC. Beats digging through Facebook groups full of opinions and zero numbers.

Interesting bit under the rankings is volume vs dollars. Feels like fewer starts in a few SEQ pockets but the contract values on the jobs that do go ahead are chunkier.

Bigger footprints, more options, site costs eating people alive. So the revenue ladder can climb even when the estate streets look quieter than 2021.

Yeah that matches what I am hearing on the Sunshine Coast. Spec builds sitting longer, but the signed contracts that do land are rarely the skinny 3 bed entry product anymore.

People who can still build are spending up on the one they do. Rankings by revenue capture that. Rankings by house count would look different and probably more depressing.

COUGH METRICON COUGH PLANTATION COUGH

cool cool cool the top of the queensland home builder ladder is basically japanese parent company cosplay with a local sales suite

wheres the aussie owned ranking eh. put coral ausbuild brighton in a proper list that isnt diluted by overseas chequebooks. otherwise we are just clapping revenue for someone elses balance sheet

Fuzzy mate, genuinely wondering why Reddit keeps banning you. Absolute mystery. Could not possibly be the vibes.

Keep the ownership chat to company facts, not nationality bait. Rankings discussion is fine. Turning it into a pile-on is not. Carry on about the data.

For anyone still hunting numbers after the top 5 / top 15 chat: all the reports are published on their site now.

Handy if you want more than the weekly leaderboard snapshot without waiting for the next LinkedIn carousel.

Useful thread if you are comparing volume builders in SEQ. The revenue ranking is not a quality ranking though, just who wrote the most contracts.

Still better than guessing from which logo is on the most ute doors at Bunnings.
